Last year, fans stood in line to make sure they got an autograph from their favorite Master of Ceremony, Tasmay, who keeps audiences entertained while juggling to maintain 21st century order with members of the royal family in spite of their less than enthusiastic willingness to adhere to television protocol for the prestigious ceremony in honor of Father Yahweh.
Tasmay is a trained actor from Detroit. He has been acting in several short, feature films and theater for the past five years. "Though film is my first love, being on stage gives me a whole lot of new energy and challenge as there won't be any retakes." Awarded Best Actor in a lead role for the short films "Bliss Burger" and "Coro-Nah". Tasmay says he also loves writing and directing films.
This year, Tasmay not only plays two roles in the production of 4 Daughters Minus One, 2000 A.D., but he
and his wife slowed down rehearsals with the addition of Tasmay's new baby boy. Audiences will get to see Tasmay on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Wayne State University Community Arts Center Building. $25 and $40 tickets are available online at Eventbrite.
