Officer & Actor - Manny Mosley


Manny is a devoted father to his daughters residing in Auburn Hills, Michigan, spent his formative years on Detroit's east side as the second oldest among five siblings. His childhood, shaped by the dynamics of a large family, instilled in him a strong sense of responsibility and compassion, especially in his role as an older sibling. This upbringing influenced his approach to parenting as a father to girls, impacting his views on life and relationships.

 

Among his varied interests, Manny finds joy in physical activities like working out and in quiet pursuits like reading and drawing, a skill he has been honing since the age of 11. His curiosity extends to subjects such as science, astronomy, and ancient history, with a lifelong dream of one day experiencing space travel. Manny has a strong passion for playing basketball and finds immense joy in honing his skills on the court. He also has a penchant for indulging in delicious cakes, savoring each delectable bite. In addition, he immerses himself in the world of video games, finding them to be a source of entertainment and relaxation. When it comes to sports, Manny's enthusiasm knows no bounds, with football and basketball being his top favorites.

 

In addition to his interests, Manny serves as a First Sergeant in the Michigan Army National Guard, contributing 22 1/2 years of dedicated service. He derives satisfaction from bringing laughter and smiles to others, embracing every opportunity to uplift those around him.

 

Three years ago, Manny embraced a new chapter in his life, fully immersing himself in the entertainment industry. From a young age, he harbored aspirations of becoming a voice actor, practicing vocal imitations and character voices. Despite facing challenges since his teenage years, Manny remains committed to pursuing his dreams, inspired by role models such as Morgan Freeman and Samuel L. Jackson, who found success later in life through unwavering perseverance. Grateful for the opportunity to be part of an exciting production, Manny shares a poignant quote by the late Nelson Mandela: "It always seems impossible until it's done." He will play the role of the Biblical prophet Elijah in the upcoming stage play, 4 Daughters Minus One, 2000 A.D. Tickets on sale at Eventbrite.
