ABOUT KAYLA

From a young age, Kayla Mone’ discovered her passion for performing on stage. Over time, she realized that her talents could extend beyond the theater—onto the screen and even the page. Driven by the lack of relatable stories for people of color, she is committed to writing narratives that spark meaningful conversations and challenge perspectives.

Kayla has appeared in Fairleigh Dickinson University’s productions of The Children’s Hour as Helen and Into the Woods as Little Red. When she’s not performing, she enjoys unwinding at home, immersing herself in films and TV shows.
